Very Old Film Developing, all film, except 35mm long roll motion picture film, can be developed regardless of format or age. Once developed, still film is scanned, enhanced, and burned to CD. Motion picture film is best transferred to DVD or a Digital File (AVI or MOV) after development. Often, motion picture film is developed into Black & White negatives to preserve what’s left.
